Hello, Cane Ridge families! 🤩 Here are a few bits of information and reminders as we get back into the routine of school! ✅ The online registration update in Infinite Campus Parent Portal MUST be completed ASAP! This is taking the place of all the paperwork that we used to send home at the beginning of the year. If you need help getting your information updated please call Ms. Melanie at (859) 987-2106. 💦 Our water bottle policy is still in place. Water bottles must be clear/see through, non metal. No straws with a completely sealable lid. 🪪 Starting tomorrow, 8/20/26, we will return to regular morning sign in. Any parents who want to come in the building must have a photo ID and sign in with our Raptor system at the office. We will also be going straight to the gym for assembly and no longer going to classrooms first. 📋 Educational Enhancement Forms must be submitted at least 5 days prior to the day(s) missed in order to receive approval. 💛 Thank you for helping to make our first couple of days such a success. It’s going to be a wonderful year!

Bourbon County Schools will host the first Local Planning Committee public forum on Wednesday June 24th, 2026. The meeting will take place in the Boardroom of Central Office. The forum will last from 5:00 - 5:30 PM. This will be the first of 3 public forums held in the community. The purpose of the meeting will be to hear public opinion related to Bourbon County Schools facilities. These comments will be shared with the Local Planning Committee to be included in the newest District Facility Plan. We look forward to hearing from you!

The Bourbon County Schools Board of Education will hold a Special Called Board Meeting for Wednesday, June 24 @ 4:30 pm ET (3:30 PM CT). The Meeting will be held via google meet. The agenda can be found at https://www.bourbon.kyschools.us/page/board-of-education

Attention Bourbon County families: please be advised that Friday, May 22, will be an early release day for all students. Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:00 PM, followed by Middle and High School students at 1:00 PM. Lunch will be served prior to departure.
